Brother Frongrif

Brother Frongrif is a Nord priest of Jhunal who can be encountered on the roads of Western Skyrim.

Dialogue[edit]

Talking to him, he says:

"Have you heard tale of Jhunal, friend? The Imperials call him Julianos and claim him as one of the Divines, but few remember his true origin here, in the snowy lands of Skyrim.
Can I interest you in a book on the god of knowledge and wisdom?"
I'll take a look. [Take the Book]
"I'm certain you'll find that book a worthwhile read! Once we gather the funds to open the Temple of Jhunal again, I look forward to seeing you at our services!
Never let it be said that the Nords of Skyrim are not lore seekers as well."
I'm not interested. [Refuse the Book]
"Ah, no, of course you wouldn't be. Skyrim is a land of hard people and hard drinkers. Who has any use for skill to read, write, and reason these days? Few here, I assure you.
Very well. I will seek others who are willing to learn."

If you accept, he gives you a copy of Jhunal the Rune God. Speaking to him again if you took the book:

"How wonderful to see you again, my friend! I hope you have been continuing to seek knowledge and wisdom. Such is the calling of those who recognize Jhunal as our patron."

If you refuse, you will not receive anything. If you talk to the priest again he will say:

"Many see Nords as drunken fools. With the decline of Jhunal in our pantheon and disdain for learning and curiosity, it is no wonder so many others think of us as primitive.
But I will never stop spreading the words of Jhunal. Some must hear it!"
